One minor point: the 20 year olds in 1944 were drafted, they had no choice. My Grandfather was one of them.

as was my father.. he went in at 18. There was also a mandatory draft in the 60's and early 70's.. hence, the anti-war movement

I would gladly lay down my life for a good country, the problem is, America isn't a good country anymore. I think the brave men of the past would definitely be outraged at the new America.

i think America is still a great country. i do think that the forefathers of this nation would be horrifed with the current state of affairs. so many fail-safes set into the constitution have been bypassed under the pretense of "national security."

but getting back to this poster...i see patriots in both pics. or would you argue that the people have a right to voice their discontent in peaceful a**embly? what did jefferson and lincoln say about big banks? ...and what were the 99% protesting?

Sent this to my grandson. Maybe when he takes a break from listening to the nonsense he calls music he will read this.
