Didn't Adolf Hitler scapegoat an evil rich minority too? I mean the average German couldn't be told he was just bitter that he failed in life despite his ego. They may not have freely elected him.

"1%" is far more PC though...

Yes, I would.

However, I have no interest in giving you contact information so you can send me your money when you lose. Besides, I have no need for money with beavers, loons and maple leaves on them.

True statement. The Germans were so severely punished after WWI that they were doomed to fail. When their govt monetized their debt (printing more money to buy their own debt), they devalued their $ to the point that it resulted in hyperinflation (the Weimar Republic). The marks became worthless and it took wheel barrows full to buy food. This allowed Hitler to rise to power by blaming the rich and his political opponents. Since the German people were desparate, they were willing to follow anyone who said he had a solution, including a psycho like Hitler.

Fast forward several decades and we see that Obama and Dems are vilifying the rich and their political opponents and Obama has monetized our debt with QE1 & QE2. He is intimidating the other branches of govt (like Hitler did), he is waging war on religion (like Hitler did), and he is pitting the citizens against each other by race and wealth (like Hitler did). Certainly, Obama isn't Hitler and he isn't going to slaughter a race of people in this country. However, they both believe that Marxism is the best way to govern, they believe that the ends justify the means, and they seem to agree that the citizens of their respective countries are too stupid to fix their problems without a "benevolent leader" telling them what to do.

Back to the thread's topic of OWS, though. Hitler had the brown shirts. Obama has OWS.

There definitely are some scary comparisons.

Who are the wall street occupiers? Here's a good answer of what kinds of thugs and morons they are:

Chilling Plea at ‘Occupy’ DC: Speaker – If I‘m Arrested ’I Want You to Start Killing M*****F*****s!’
Posted on April 25, 2012 at 12:59am by Benny Johnson
H/T : Nate at OccupyEye

Multiple speakers preached explicit violence at the Occupy The Justice Department rally in Washington DC Tuesday. Speeches at this event were focused on Trayvon Martin and freedom for radical journalist and convicted cop killer, Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Rapper Jay Sun began the rally with a violence-laden plea: ”I would just ask, if I ever go locked up or incarcerated, please don’t march for me. Don’t rally for me. I want you to start killing Mother F***ers!”

He went on to explain, “It seems funny, but that’s the only thing a Government would listen to,” adding, “I would want people who would effectively get the task at hand done.”

The rapper was followed by a rap memorial performed in honor of the late Trayvon Martin. Some of the allegorical lyrics include:

"George Zimmerman didn’t take his Ritalin/Drunk off adrenaline/says he’s making a citizens arrest/Trayvon looks at him vexed/George grabs him/Trayvon swings and connects/Starts crying out for help/Zimmerman sees a threat/so he pulls out his gun and points it at his chest/he fires and he misses/Trayvon begs for forgiveness/but George Zimmerman was so vicious/he made sure the second time he shot him/no survivors/no witness"

The rap had a clearly stated message at the end: “The message is: only White life is protected in America.”

Activist Pam Africa closed out the event on Pennsylvania Ave. with a rousing speech encouraging people to cast out in vengeance against the “M***er F***er“ who ”blew the brains out of a brother.”

“Don‘t push for nothin’ you ain’t prepared to do,” Africa lamented. “I have yet to pick up a paper and see where somebody has dealt with a situation where some m***** f***** took aim and blew the brains out of a brother.”

Africa followed up with a call for action: “We cannot be up on stage talkin’ s**t, that you gonna do something that never f***ing materialize.”

The rally eventually moved to the White House where the expletive-laden rant turned into a popular chant: “Obama come out, we got some s**t to talk about!”

Tea Party has their crazies too. What's your point?

I was always under the impression rock/pop/rap/entertainers were excluded from political discourse.

To be fair to Ted private ownership and individual rights are worth fighting for...commie nonsense occasionally needs to be reminded what would happen if "(Socialism is) the violent overthrow of the bourgeoisie, the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and the eradication of the social system based on profit" actually occurred.

You know it's one thing for a commie professor to indoctrinate some weak minded misfit kid...it's another thing to actually steal and do away with individual rights. It's why the 2nd is there...

Trying to compare real crimes with Nugent using (admittedly poor) metaphors? Man, you really are a retard. OWS has had rape, theft, drug use, violence, vandalism, etc, etc.

You condemn Nugent but I've never heard you go after all the people that called for Bush's and Cheney's death. Even if I accept your position (which will never happen since your positions are always complete BS) that Nugent was threatening them, you'd still just be diverting attention from the topic by trying to justify crimes with somebody else's behavior.

You're just a pathetic hypocrite. Thanks for proving it repeatedly on this site.

A hypocrite is a person who claims to have virtues that they don't.

The Tea Party has members who call for acts of violence, and members who even commit acts of violence, yet you're only criticizing OWS for this, and I'm the hypocrite? Bueller....?

So I'll ask it again: The Tea Party has their crazies too. What's your point?

Some call for using violence to steal people's property and do away with their individual rights.

Americans warn commie thieves that they would use violence to defend themselves and their property.

Big difference...
