Anyone with multiple accounts on any of the motinetwork sites should be found out and banned immediately. And I would think that both sides of this argument would want that. It hurts your credibility when your comrades don't play the game by the rules.

Any of the older network members know what happens when one member pretends to be two people. Not to mention how pathetic it is.


Btw. I was not asked to comment here, I look into politifake once in a while to remind myself why we fought so hard to get politics off Motifake. The problem is, how do you determine a duplicate account? Same IP address? Nope - too many ifs there. Same email address? One way, but easily fooled as cranksuckee can attest to. So what does that leave for determining dupes? Oh, I know, let cranksuckee whine and cry enough and have the mods look into it. Wait, there's no way for them to be certain. Wait for cranksuckee to cry some more. Oh, he brought over some motifake people to help him out. Still no way to determine if anyone has a dupe account. Oh, wait, maybe cranksuckee is using a proxy to disguise his extra accounts. Hmmm, no way to verify it. Oh well, we'll just wait until cranksuckee cries and whines some more and makes more false, unverifiable accusations. Isn't that the canadian way?

The problem is that the false accusations and a mod coming in and saying "IP overlap" seems to mean something to one who knows absolutely nothing about ip addressing or the internet. As baseless as the accusation is, retards will think that it's correct, right cranksuckee?

For what it's worth....and I am really a newbie around here.

My better half has an account here. She actually found this site first and got me into it...but she never uses it like I do. And she certainly would not engage in the stuff I get into with the members here...but....what if she did? I mean would I be in the same boat as arnnatz and liberals? Would I be accused of the same?

Now her and I use different computers...especially since hers are more for online banking and bills, finding family things to do...mine if for fighting with you guys, guitar forums, and playing video games....but every so often we do use whatever computer or tablet is closest, or fully charged. Sometimes we stay in at our apartment in Brooklyn where there is only one PC hooked up and no wireless is used.

I don't know any better than anyone else but I never got the sense they are the same person...everyone has a certain online personality and they don't seem to be the same person. They don't have a million posters that they want to win some competition with, nor do they correspond with me in similar ways.

Also, we all fight fight with the "other side" and Cranky, to his credit, always shows up and fights back...I have never seen either of them issue threats...never seen them say anything that would indicate they are bad guys that really mean harm. Now I know that the insults fly but they both dish it out and they all can handle it. Just locker room fighting...

Personally, I get a kick out of the back and forth here...I would miss it if it stopped!

More importantly I don't believe any of the people involved are bad guys...would be happy to have a few beers with anyone here and have a nice drunken political fight, then shake hands....

Hence the problem with stating "IP Overlap, aliases are not allowed, please explain" In your case, even though you are on different computers, you share the internet connection. Most likely, you are using the same externally facing IP address and are guilty of *gasp* the dreaded IP Overlap *gasp* which, to some people, would mean that you and your wife are one and the same. Kinda kinky isn't it?
