See I don't like this either way...

Assuming Obama wasn't a filthy lying commie lover when he was running 2008....assume he really was opposed to war.

It wouldn't matter... and he should have been smart enough to know that...he should have known that our treaties and our defense are what they are. You can't just wave a magic wand and say "no more".

All a president can do is make decisions...

a) 1,000,000 dead

b) 100,000 dead

c) 10,000 dead

If the president chooses "c" he still gets raked over the coals...

Obama should have known...maybe he did and was just intentionally misleading people.

Like when he said he didn't vote for war in Iraq while running against Hillary....I mean duh...neither did I. Like him I wasn't in a position to vote in favor of it or not.

A "hawk" is someone who is game for a fight, a war.

A "chicken hawk" is a slam at those who push for war but won't fight themselves.

I guess you learn something new every day.

Thanks Kal.

Come to think of it, I've never heard Romney push for war and he looks like he could hold his own in a scrap.

Here's an idea.... An electoral cage match.

No problem, I had no idea what a "wobbly pop" was...

The left will use it when the time is right...Romney was doing some missionary thing while the Vietnam war was taking place. And he will have to take a strong defense position because that is one of the positions of the GOP base...so the "chicken hawk" thing will be used. Easily countered though...

Do you pronounce the letter "Z" zed? or zeee?

I bugged out years ago when RUSH pronounced it YY ZED...

I guess I use both. Never really thought about it before.

If I'm singing the alphabet I use zee, on my radio at work I use zed.

That's why we pronounce it "zeee" right? because it keeps the flow of the alphabet song?

Wait, US military guys....what is the radio "Z" we use?

For radio I always used "Zulu"...might have used "Zebra"...have I had it wrong all these years?

It's usually Zulu. But the idiots I work with never bothered learning the codes. What we do isn't as important as a military exercise......so I don't bother trying to teach them.

To clarify... I only sing the alphabet song with my five year old niece.

Mostly.........
