Some women will support it because they want out of an unwanted pregnancy...but why such rabid support from men?

I envy the leftists that only meet the poor victims of rape, or sympathize with a woman that knows her child will be born deformed...I haven't met many people like this....people I can sympathize with, that I would want to help personally through a horrible situation...that even if I disagree, with every fiber of my being, I can still see some human element of mercy in their decision...I know there has to be some...

Yeah, I'm ok with rape victims getting abortions, IMO that's the only "right" thing to do.

Like I've stated in the past, I have no problem with abortion for rape, incest and risk to the mother's life. I don't think it is a form of birth control.

I'm not sure why this is supposed to be a shocking story (as the media reported it). This was the original goal of Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger. Here's a good article to get you started on the roots of US abortions and how they stem from far left eugenics movements in the past (Hitler used them too).
