You said that armed and trained soldiers do not have the ability to defend themselves. You said my brothers and sisters who died were armed and able to defend themselves. YOU LIED! Are we clear,LIAR?

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 5:17pm, #44871

Your pathetic attempts at back tracking shames you even more. Those soldiers died WEAPONLESS! The only thing you are doing is justifying the murder of those soldiers.

crankyhead - Dec 19, 2012 5:12pm, #44870

31 mass shootings since Columbine is exactly 31 too many.

crankyhead - Dec 19, 2012 5:09pm, #44869

foxrecon, for the fourth or fifth time now, I'm not against gun ownership. I don't want to disarm law abiding citizens. I'm not interested in making weapons illegal. What I do want, is for crazy people to not kill kids. Are we clear, corporal?

crankyhead - Dec 19, 2012 5:07pm, #44868

He was on a military base. Ergo, he was surrounded by soldiers. In the same way that if you go to a library, you are surrounded by books.

crankyhead - Dec 19, 2012 5:06pm, #44867

In fact, one could successfully argue that your strict adherence to ignoring portions of the language in the 2nd amendment, makes you the owner of the 'ANTI-2nd amendment' position.

crankyhead - Dec 19, 2012 5:05pm, #44866

I'm PRO-2nd amendment foxrecon, as is any other person who wants the language in the second amendment to be followed.

crankyhead - Dec 19, 2012 5:01pm, #44865

Read the poster again fox. I said the opposite of what you think I did. Again. It clearly says that the soldiers had the necessary training to use their weapons. You colossal dimbulb.

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 4:50pm, #44864

Legally proliferated? You mean like Obama's Fast and Furious?

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 4:11pm, #44863

Glass break alarms, swipe cards, RFID tags, motion detectors and rigorous training....That's what will keep us safe.

Jrock - Dec 19, 2012 4:09pm, #44862

Yes and guns like theses are being legally proliferated and yet you blame the Democrats for the shooting.

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 4:09pm, #44861

But it needs to be properly trained security. I work in the security industry, Training is vital. There are people that work under me that I wouldn't trust to guard a bus shelter...never mind a school.

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 4:06pm, #44860

They're schools! No one should have a gun in a school. And if they did, how long would it be before one of the faculty goes nuts and shoots up the school? No guns is not a solution, but guns for everyone isn't any better. Better security is the only hope.

simplegenius - Dec 19, 2012 3:59pm, #44859

didn't say it was a perfect idea, just an observation.

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 3:48pm, #44858

Maybe...but the fact reamins, all of the victims in Columbine, VA Tech, Aurora and, Sandy Hook were unarmed.

simplegenius - Dec 19, 2012 2:44pm, #44857

true signs don't shoot back, but if I were to be an armed criminal I would probably shoot people before they could fully draw as I would have my gun ready before they know what is going on.

simplegenius - Dec 19, 2012 2:40pm, #44856

so one guy shoots up a school somewhere and all of a sudden civilized society is suspect and we have to change everything around for wackos? I don't agree with being scared over a few nutjobs. yeah tragedies happen, but less than one percent of the time

simplegenius - Dec 19, 2012 2:26pm, #44855

the problem is over-diagnosing it seems that if a kid acts up even the slightest they tag him with some stupid condition and medicate him.. when I was a kid, it was called being a kid and rambunctious. the drugs are harmful, cause there is nothing to fix.

simplegenius - Dec 19, 2012 2:21pm, #44854

course, some of the closer soldiers behind the shooter should have relied on their hand to hand combat and should've tried to take him out from behind, but i wouldn't know what I would do in that situation either.

simplegenius - Dec 19, 2012 2:20pm, #44853

I believe that the situation with the soldiers checking in to leave is still a time when they are to carry no ammo. that is why the shooter wasn't stopped until base security arrived who carry loaded weapons. the soldiers had training just no ammo.

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 12:25pm, #44852

You are one of those who are for massive gun control, but lying and denegrating the memory of our brothers and sisters to push your agenda should bring you shame. We are less than 1% of America. I knew some of those whose memory and sacrifice you spit on

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 12:16pm, #44851

The attacker was not "surrounded" by armed soldiers. The only one who was armed was the attacker. If the soldiers were armed, we wouldn't be having this discussion. The fact remains, the soldiers were WEAPONLESS! You shame yourself with your blatant lies

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 12:13pm, #44850

To lie and say that the attacker was "surrounded by soldiers carrying a**ault rifles" but yet the soldiers did not have the skills to defend themselves is the highest form of brainwashed ignorance and disrespect to the soldiers who died WEAPONLESS!

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 11:54am, #44849

This poster says that you will say any lie to push your anti-2nd Amendment agenda. The attack occured at the MOB station. The ONLY one who was armed was your buddy, the shooter. You insult my dead brothers and sisters with your lie that they were armed.

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 11:46am, #44848

That is funny! Now that you mention whiskey, this site may be thera**utic, in a way. I've seen a lot of bar fights caused by prople arguing about politics. At least here, we can all be morons and no one gets hurt.

foxrecon19d - Dec 19, 2012 11:39am, #44847

My friend, there are already 20,000 gun control laws on the books. I believe that we need to do a far better job of enforcing the rules we already have before we start making new rules....that the criminals will ignore anyway. But I do see your point.

PapaFox - Dec 19, 2012 10:51am, #44846

Actually that is a very rare side effect, usually brought on by improper use of the drug. Properly used, they reduce suicidal tendencies.

BALLS - Dec 19, 2012 10:41am, #44845

You're right. With one of the most common side effects of antidepressants being "suicidal tendencies" what could possibly go wrong with giving them to the possibly psych**ic mentally ill?

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 10:04am, #44844

Back then name calling was common on the site, all it got us was a lot of banned members and massive arguments....That's why I'm always pushing for civility here.....I'm still ashamed of the way We used to be.

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 10:01am, #44843

can't even recall what it was)......It's important to mention that I used to drink a lot....Irish Whiskey ALL day.

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 9:59am, #44842

day I woke up and Mr.M had a**ociated all of our user names with out accounts and I got stuck with Moo+17 as a permanent Nic. I could have asked him to change it for me but it seemed funny to me (I guess I thought that joke would last forever, Now I ...

Mooooooooooooooooooo - Dec 19, 2012 9:56am, #44841

Ah, That's a tale I've told many times.... Way back in the day when Motifake was very young you had to type in your name every time you made a comment. I can't remember the joke but for a few days I used to use Moo (random # of o's) to insult WTFO. One..

fauxnews - Dec 19, 2012 9:54am, #44840

Reactionary Neo-cons get rid of mental healthcare but they refuse to get rid of dangerous a**ault-style guns. Shouldn't this be the opposite? Great poster by the way, mate. 5 stars. :)

fauxnews - Dec 19, 2012 9:53am, #44839

Mate, where I'm from (the UK) we simply dont have these problems. We did before all the regulation. My family emigrated from Israel and in that country (I have duel-citizenship)you are required to join the military. America could use some more rules, Fox.

fauxnews - Dec 19, 2012 9:49am, #44838

Amazing poster mate! Couldnt say it any better myself.

PapaFox - Dec 19, 2012 7:29am, #44837

This is one of the most dangerously ignorant posts I've seen yet.

PapaFox - Dec 19, 2012 7:27am, #44836

Too right.

andy30 - Dec 18, 2012 11:59pm, #44835

Yeah, because playing army men or cowboys and indians was less violent when we were kids...

andy30 - Dec 18, 2012 11:54pm, #44834

Actually, if you don't have money, you generally don't get given a free gun on my tax dollars by a hospital. However, if you have the money to buy a gun, then mental health care should be just as affordable since that pistol is abut $500-$800.

JGalt - Dec 18, 2012 11:18pm, #44833

Who is going to disarm them?
