That's probably a bit of an exaggeration on holder. Cheney literally sh** someone in the face, plus the whole middle east thing, might not have happened without him. Somehow Biden shooting someone with chocolate bullets sounds vaguely plausible though.

Renza - May 17, 2013 9:32am, #55794

They don't realistically get taxed jack once you factor in loop holes and subsidies though.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:42am, #55793

or biden shooting them with chocolate bullets

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:40am, #55792

and holder would work as an example of shooting someone in both the head and heart and then stealing their wallet and raping the victim's wife.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:39am, #55791

And then the companies file their taxes and the government gets another chunk of change from stuff they already taxed. I don't think you can chalk it all up to corporate greed. Part of it is a f***ed up tax code.

Renza - May 17, 2013 8:38am, #55790

Well, Cheney would work as an example of shooting someone in the head... I am saying the means and intent differs, but the end result is the same.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:35am, #55789

The government (fed and states) gets around 40 cents per gallon, transporting gas is around 26 cents per gallon, refining is 24 cents, gas stations make around 9 cents per gallon, it's hard to say what oil companies make because crude jumps wildly

Renza - May 17, 2013 8:27am, #55788

yeah, that more than anything is just corporate greed causing it. Still was odd having that sharp sudden and very temporary drop in gas prices right before he got in office considering how long we were running at 3-4 a gallon.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:24am, #55787

I think you are trying to compare shooting someone in the head versus shooting someone in the heart and saying one is better than the other.

Renza - May 17, 2013 8:24am, #55786

There's just more vocal conservatives and fundies on this site to throw logic at from time to time.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:23am, #55785

anyways, obama did show his ignorance of the economy when he said that low gas prices are a product of a crappy economy.

Renza - May 17, 2013 8:22am, #55784

I'm afraid you're mistaken, it's not that I think any political party is good necessarily, the dems generally fail through incompetence and lack of unity, whereas the republicans fail willfully or through sociopathic greed and disregard of the poor...

Renza - May 17, 2013 8:19am, #55783

yeah, really have no idea what you were going for on that one, figured you were following up with something.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:19am, #55782

so says a partisan hack. The reality, if you care to really think about it, is that both parties are setting themselves up for failure. Look at how this admin has been caught with its iron fist in the cookie jar.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:18am, #55781

after re-reading that quote, it sounds pretty incoherent.

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:12am, #55780

"And when gas prices are on the rise again because as the economy strengthens, global demand for oil increases. And if we start seeing significant increases in gas prices, losing that $40 could not come at a worse time," Obama said

Renza - May 17, 2013 8:11am, #55779

would you say it's endangeringly delicious?

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:07am, #55778

and turtle soup tastes good

StoneTools - May 17, 2013 8:06am, #55777

Apparently just one scapegoat in a large herd.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:44am, #55776

meh, his failed attempt will always be better than the GOP's ongoing attempts to fail.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:42am, #55775

how many laps is that now?

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:41am, #55774

Valid point in any case.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:39am, #55773

fundamentalist religious politicians... the greatest threat to the future of both this country and the world.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:33am, #55772

The hitler posts had way more credibility, at least he was intelligent and successful despite his inhumanity.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:32am, #55771

Ah rush limbaugh, the epitome of reason, intelligence, humanity, and credibility. oh wait, did I say epitome? I meant antithesis.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:27am, #55770

If nobody tells the truth, then this poster is a lie, as would be the statement that nobody tells the truth.

Renza - May 17, 2013 7:25am, #55769

Oyster - May 17, 2013 6:21am, #55768

And evryone in unison said: AMEN!

Oyster - May 17, 2013 6:00am, #55767

Because it's cost effective and helps increase the profit margin. What a silly question...

StoneTools - May 16, 2013 11:26pm, #55766

the least he could do is stay under the umbrella while the marine is holding it for him.

StoneTools - May 16, 2013 11:25pm, #55765

That being said, why is the obama administration immune from investigation or prosecution? Because someone did something similar? I guess if someone commits murder and gets away with it, nobody should ever be investigated or prosecuted for murder.

StoneTools - May 16, 2013 11:23pm, #55764

Eleven were were convicted, but two convictions were overturned on appeal. Most received community service and probation. The charges were mostly misdemeanors or they received immunity for their testimony.

StoneTools - May 16, 2013 11:19pm, #55763

That's false: Thomas G. Clines served 16 months. Most of the rest of the people involved were indicted, but the prosecution screwed the pooch and the independent counsel got most of the charges thrown out.

BobbEdwards - May 16, 2013 11:02pm, #55762

Not the best political climate to raise the ghost of Mr. Iran-Contra again. Not only was Reagan not impeached, NO ONE involved did any time for that ra** of our Constitution. That's just fine for those now screaming for Obama's impeachment, hypocrites all

Curlyrocks - May 16, 2013 10:56pm, #55761

Real funny ;) 5L

Curlyrocks - May 16, 2013 10:41pm, #55760

Well I may not have enough to say, or feel like it needs to be said in 50 different posters, but I can keep sticking this in the flaunt your poster box.

Rudedog - May 16, 2013 10:23pm, #55759

Amen Chad

Rudedog - May 16, 2013 10:22pm, #55758

It's like term limits, good luck with passing that legislature.

Rudedog - May 16, 2013 10:18pm, #55757

Wow, what an appropriate display of our president's use of executive order.

Rudedog - May 16, 2013 10:14pm, #55756

Apparently it wasn't raining in Benghazi.
