NIMBY- not in my back yard... favorite chant of the liberal elite

OTC - Oct 21, 2014 4:53pm, #71671

now it seems they weren't preparing for Obamacare, but releasing ebola into the country

OTC - Oct 21, 2014 4:21pm, #71670

To be clear, someone who is upset about hate speech is using hate speech themselves. kinda like the OWS crowd protesting big business while using big business smart phones and Nike shoes, typical liberal hypocrisy

Curlyrocks - Oct 21, 2014 2:31pm, #71669

of VX or other nerve gas that can last indefinitely. Even if the invasion of Iraq was justified and Saddam was making chem weapons just before it, it doesn't justify Obama's attack. IF ISIS used chem weapons it was pool shock and cleaner in an old shell.

Curlyrocks - Oct 21, 2014 2:28pm, #71668

I have no doubt they found dispersal shells Possibly made just before the invasion. The part I question is how the chemicals in the shells lasted more than 10 years. Sarin has a limited shelf life as do most blistering chemicals, and there's no evidence..

Illegal access has been logged for the authorities. Hate speech in full view.

foxrecon19d - Oct 21, 2014 12:16am, #71664

THIS is how desperate they have become. Here is a threat PM JunRed sent: "You only remedy at this point is to cease and desist in any and all political activity on this internet venue and elsewhere. Consider this an official cease and desist notice."

foxrecon19d - Oct 21, 2014 12:00am, #71663

Ahhh... how soon you forget. Obama pulled us out of Iraq in 2011 because "he ended the war", remember? This is a whole new war, unless Obama lied...The Democrat spin doctors are going silly over this one

JGalt - Oct 20, 2014 10:24pm, #71662

Teddy kept his word, his party did not!

Don't mean continuing it?

Interesting choice of picture.

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 7:18pm, #71658

I'm willing to grant that considering all that black gold was bought up by China of all places. But I can't think of any other rationale worth waging a war, especially when the Weapons of Mass Destruction weren't exactly accounted for.

Petroleum, you have to be kidding. USGS estimates we have 2.3 trillion barrels in un***ped reserves.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 6:53pm, #71655

Communism? Where did I say anything about communism?

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 6:52pm, #71654

Geeze, that's a real tough one. Socialism: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 6:23pm, #71653

I'm not sure you're entirely familiar with what the definition of Socialism really is, never mind Communism. And there is nothing more in demand than rockets, bombs, and Petroleum, so a Capitalist affair it most certainly was and still is.

OTC - Oct 20, 2014 5:57pm, #71652

apparently, doing a bunch of interns count as serving.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 5:45pm, #71651

He is still starting it

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 5:44pm, #71650

Neither of which has anything to do with the definition of socialism, but everything to do with stupidity.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 5:42pm, #71649

greg abbot because he is in a wheel chair.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 5:41pm, #71648

The war in Iraq was just a stupid move by the government and had nothing to do with capitalism. It's like slamming socialism because a socialist president allow the fed to pump so much money into finding out why les***** are fat or wendy davis attacking

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 5:33pm, #71647

Took the outta my mouth. :P

Curlyrocks - Oct 20, 2014 5:31pm, #71646

Because as a libertarian my 2 favorite things are shooting off my mouth and making inaccurate a**umptions about people on the left.

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 5:20pm, #71645

Bush started it. Twice.

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 5:02pm, #71644

*destabilized Iraq

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 5:01pm, #71643

No, that's what I was saying, what I was saying is that War in Iraq is a great, big ol' Crisis-Capitalist scam, and as a Libertarian, why are you speaking for me? Are you or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?!

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 5:00pm, #71642

Did you not just a**ert that Capitalism creates more incentives to work? A destabilized certainly is a great incentive for work and profit, just as it was before. The term here is Crisis Capitalism, and so you know, this is all germane to your comment.

Curlyrocks - Oct 20, 2014 4:07pm, #71641

He's pointing out the futility of make work programs, and feels that most recent wars have been nothing more than make work programs. Although maybe I'm wrong I probably shouldn't speak for other people. But that's how I feel.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 4:02pm, #71640

The first one was from nsidc.org and the second one is from answers.com

Its average thickness is about 1.6 km. The deepest known ice rests 2,555 meters below sea level, where the ice is over 4 kilometers thick.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 3:49pm, #71638

The ice cap that covers Antarctica is more than 2100 meters thick in places, more than two kilometers (1.3 miles). This is where most of the world's fresh water is contained. If it melted completely it would raise sea levels by 61 meters (200 feet).

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 3:40pm, #71637

Antarctic ice is typically 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6 feet) thick, while most of the Arctic is covered by sea ice 2 to 3 meters (6 to 9 feet) thick. Some Arctic regions are covered with ice that is 4 to 5 meters (12 to 15 feet) thick.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 3:37pm, #71636

and that relates to my comment or your poster in what way?

Curlyrocks - Oct 20, 2014 3:17pm, #71635

5L, perfect poster.

Cannabal - Oct 20, 2014 2:35pm, #71634

Y'know, when you put it like that, it now makes a lot of sense why Iraq was invaded in the first place: it was job stimulus program.

EmmaRoydes - Oct 20, 2014 2:06pm, #71633

(no work, no money).
