Sunset Message

The MotiNetwork will cease to exist March 31st, 2018
Google has done a wonderful job pulling the plug on all of our traffic, and at this point, the sites cost more to run in server resources than the income they bring in. Its been a hell of 10 year ride, but the time has come to sunset the network.

Thx Emma, even the most hardened GW denier wants to keep volatile hydrocarbons out their drinking water and growing land.

Methane CH4, Methanol CH3-OH. Methanol is made primarily by running methane over a catalyst with steam.
EmmaRoydes - August 22, 2014, 9:51 am
I didn't see where Curly said you make methane from natural gas, but referred to the wasted gas from burning leaking gases instead of capturing and preserving them.
bubbagrump - August 22, 2014, 9:31 am
You un don't make methane from natural gas, genius. Methane IS natural gas. NSTFU.
Curlyrocks - August 21, 2014, 12:42 pm
Nuclear power needs to get off the old dirty disaster prone reactors ASAP. When fracking gets in your water it's from a leaky pipe, which I demand a better standard of. We will switch to renewable energy but it will be a slower process than expected.
Zeitguy - August 21, 2014, 12:03 am
Buddy, I am so on board with you on nuclear energy as the stepping stone. Fracking is fine as long as it is not in my water table. But the main goal is an investment shift from non renewables to economically feasible renewables. Thanks for your insight.
Curlyrocks - August 20, 2014, 11:03 pm
LNG use and production also leave less of a carbon footprint than standered oil and gasoline production and use, but escaping methane is apparently again a problem, but any slef respecting energy company wants that energy so it will get captured.
Curlyrocks - August 20, 2014, 11:01 pm
and can readily be switched into existing infrastructure and equipment, or at least more easily than LNG. Coal extraction can be considerably slowed thanks to fracking but will always be necessary for steel production and other metal smelting.
Curlyrocks - August 20, 2014, 10:58 pm
ng reserves, I would like to see more of the 4th gen reactors Terror talks about replace existing reactors in the next 10 years, no new old design nukes allowed. Again a slow change to methanol as it can easily be made from natural gas, burns clean...
Curlyrocks - August 20, 2014, 10:56 pm
Thanks to fracking we have maybe another 80-90 years with current methods and 100-110 when they clean it up. (for real if you're squeezing the rocks for every last hydrocarbon at least collect up all the methane don't flare it or leak it) on top of existi

I don't know who, but its obviously somebody I know. How about you stop hiding your dislike behind a monitor and mock account and come to my house and speak to me about what problems you have. you wont accomplish anything with this childish defaming

FBI Finally Investigating Something - politics

Justice Department officials are investigating a controversial float that took part in a Fourth of July parade in Norfolk, Nebraska. It depicted President Obama’s future presidential library – a building to commemorate his legacy – as an outhouse. Out of all the scandals of the Obama administration that garnered no investigations from Holder, now he decides to investigate an anti-obama float.
